Irish Department of Foreign Affairs Scholarships in Conflict Resolution (only open to EU Citizens) - This Scheme will offer opportunities for suitably qualified women and men to pursue one of the following post-graduate degrees at a recognised higher education institution in Ireland which include MA and Ph.D. Degrees at select institutions that are research based.
This Scheme will offer opportunities for suitably qualified women and men to pursueone of the following postgraduate degrees at a recognised higher education institutionin Ireland:
• a masters degree by research
• a doctoral degree by research
• an integrated masters/doctoral programme leading to the award of a doctorate.
Applications to pursue taught degrees, or degrees where a thesis/accumulated papersare valued at 60% or less of the final mark of the degree, are not eligible.Applications will be accepted from suitably qualified applicants who are eithercitizens of Ireland or citizens of a Member State of the European Union who havebeen ordinarily resident within a Member State of the EU for a continuous period ofnot less than three years prior to the closing date. For the purpose of eligibility underthis Scheme, ‘ordinary residence’ shall be deemed to refer to the applicant’s place oflegal and permanent residence.The Scholarship is valued at up to €16,000 per annum.
Hard copies of applications must be postmarked on or before 4.00 pm on 11th January.
